Miami office of our client seeks a senior attorney with 10+ years of experience. The candidate must be able to handle all aspects of family law litigation from the inception of filing a case to closing it out completely. Need to willingly help other team members with any questions and concerns they may have in assisting the team and must work with them in closing out all family law cases. Preparing and reviewing Petitions for Dissolution of Marriage, Paternity, Support, Marital Settlement Agreements, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements, and various motions. Negotiating with other attorneys and preparing discovery requests and taking depositions. Reviewing discovery and preparing cases for trial; Handling client strategy sessions. Meeting with experts and preparing discovery for mediation and trial, and attending mediations and evidentiary hearings and trials as lead counsel. Must have courtroom experience, must be able to manage clients going through a stressful time, and must manage an existing caseload along with other staff members.

The candidate must be compassionate and thoughtful yet detail-oriented and strong because many of clients call us when they are experiencing some of the most difficult times of their lives. Conveys confidence in the person and on the phone. Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult times. Treats a call at 4:30 on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills. Is proficient in Microsoft Office and database entry. Has inbound sales experience. Possesses an exemplary work ethic. Adds to the team with excellent character and desire for perfection.
