Technology Specialist

Minneapolis office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a technology specialist preferably with 0-2 years of patent prosecution experience. The candidate will draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures. Will correspond with the patent office about pending patent applications. Advise patent litigation teams based on the technical and scientific areas of expertise. Interview inventors about new ideas. Should have a Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related field. A solid understanding of biochemistry, particularly next-gen sequencing, sequencing data, and/or fluorescence imaging of biochemical moieties is required. Should preferably be registered before the USPTO. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials are required.
