Workers' Compensation Attorney

Baton Rogue office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a workers' compensation attorney with 3+ years of workers' compensation experience. The candidate manages cases from inception through trial. Communicates with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, opposing counsel, the Court, and your team in order to resolve cases efficiently and effectively. Investigates claims and gathers evidence. Documents injuries and expenses and reviews medical records. Drafts pleading, motions, and other legal documents and negotiates settlements. Strategic thinking in order to zealously advocate for all clients. Manages personnel, including training, coaching, hiring, and discipline. Assists with training personnel. Other duties as assigned. Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar.

The candidate must have a JD degree and be graduated from an accredited law school. Advanced computer skills are required. Must have proficiency in case management software. Must have an understanding of medical treatment. Must have ability to maintain professionalism and act ethically on behalf of the firm and its clients. Must have the ability to collaborate with all levels of firm personnel and foster a team environment. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have advanced computer skills. Must have effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to provide and receive information effectively and professionally.
