Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks zoning, permitting and land use partner with 8+ years of experience and strong working relationships with regulatory authorities. The candidate should have extensive experience advising clients on zoning, permitting and land use matters, including Boston and local zoning, comprehensive permits under c. 40B, subdivision control, wetlands issues and environmental matters, as well as interactions with governmental agencies and authorities. Experience with other aspects of commercial real estate, including site acquisition and assembly, leasing and financing, is also an important factor. Must have a portable practice.
The candidate should have interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills necessary for personal growth and business development.
This mid-sized firm has a century old history, but a decidedly modern attitude about associate life. The partners are invested and involved in their associates, boasting of law school pedigree and taking the associates out for practical experiences early in their careers. Mentor is a term used a lot here- and with good reason. Associates are somewhat coddled and cared for here, which provides good training. Ultimately, this full-service firm is one of the most positive Boston offices in which to work, with the added bonus of being a firm that has proven itself to be a significant player in the mid-sized market.
