A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in handling various aspects of litigation, with a focus on product liability and complex commercial cases. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, legal expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Job Details:

  • Work closely with experts, assist in fact development and depositions, and contribute to the review and drafting of discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties, both verbally and in writing.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Foster positive work relationships and adhere to all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed.
  • Perform all assigned duties, tasks, or projects with attention to detail and commitment to success.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree and Bar admission.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 law firm.
  • Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Immediate transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in medical and/or scientific fields.
  • Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients.
  • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission.
