A prominent law firm seeks a Senior Associate with expertise in borrower-side private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance to join its Private Equity Finance Practice. This position focuses on representing sponsors in private equity acquisition financings. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in sponsor-side private equity transactions and a minimum of four years in a related legal practice.

Duties

• Represent sponsor clients in private credit and acquisition finance transactions.
• Negotiate and draft documentation for leveraged finance arrangements.
• Provide counsel on sponsor-side private equity acquisition financings.
• Collaborate with a team of finance attorneys on sophisticated and cutting-edge legal matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Proven expertise in sponsor-side private equity acquisition financings.
• Strong background in borrower-side finance transactions.
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently or as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the preferred office location or eligibility to waive into the bar.
