New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks real estate due diligence attorney with 6+ years of experience managing a large volume of due diligence, ideally in a large law firm setting. The candidate will manage and coordinate due diligence on large portfolio transactions (as well as undertake own work product on individual property transactions), including: title and survey review; review leases and prepare lease abstracts; estoppel and SNDA review; zoning report review and negotiation; review ground leases and prepare ground lease abstracts; prepare and finalize ground lessor estoppel and agreements; review hotel property management and franchise agreements and prepare abstracts of the same; prepare and negotiate related hotel manager SNDAs and comfort letters; review condominium documents and prepare abstracts of the same; prepare and finalize condominium estoppels; prepare, review and negotiate state specific mortgages; review and negotiate local counsel opinions; review borrower authority documents. Will be proficient in performing the due diligence themselves, but will also be responsible for reviewing diligence work product of junior attorneys and managing completion of diligence by a team in a timely manner for the related transaction.
