Winston Salem office of our client seeks mechanical patent preparation/prosecution associate attorney with 2+ years of experience preparing and prosecuting patents in mechanical technologies. The candidate must be USPTO registered. Must preferably have some electrical/computer science/software technology experience as well. This partner-track position will be filled by someone adept at working within a team. Should be skilled in utility prosecution, global patent strategic planning, management of foreign counsel and patent illustrators, and opinion and due diligence activities. Must be North Carolina Barred or have the ability to become Barred.

The candidate should have client communication skills and responsiveness.
