Tampa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a plaintiff's litigation (consumer protection & employment law) attorney with experience. The candidate will train under an existing team of consumer protection and debt defense attorneys. Will become proficient at prosecuting consumer protection and debt defense lawsuits, with a strong focus on consumer finance, FDCPA, and FCRA. Within a few months, the associate should be able to independently manage all phases of consumer protection and debt defense litigation: investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, settlement, and releases. Within one year of employment, the candidate must integrate with an existing team to prosecute employment law cases. Knowledge of Debt Defense, Consumer Protection, and Employment law litigation preferred. Must have Florida Bar license. Knowledge of state and federal courts is required.
The candidate should have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school. Must have verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information. Time management, organizational, and multitasking skills are required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining great attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals. The ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations is required.
