A law firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking a dynamic Intake Attorney to join their team. The candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating cases for sign-up, engaging with potential clients, and acting as an attorney representative to secure sign-ups for desired cases. The role requires a strong understanding of technology, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new processes. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.



  • Assist the intake team in evaluating cases for sign-up with the firm.
  • Speak with potential clients to answer questions and assess the viability of their cases.
  • Act as an attorney representative, selling the firm's services to potential clients and securing sign-ups for wanted cases.
  • Review contracts with new clients and communicate the next steps.
  • Follow intake processes to set up new cases and communicate sign-ups to the firm and the assigned attorney team.



  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with any U.S. state Bar.
  • Paralegal candidate: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.



  • Strong understanding of technology and ability to adapt to new processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales skills to effectively sell the firm's services to potential clients.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to review contracts and follow intake processes.



  • 1+ year of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Preferred experience managing personal injury cases.
  • 1+ year of experience in doing intake or sales.
