Dallas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level labor and employment associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience. The candidate should preferably have federal clerkship experience and experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm. Practice experience should include: Counseling clients on employment law compliance issues, including noncompete agreements, medical leave and accommodations, background checks and hiring, and internal investigations; Representing clients before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor and similar state agencies; Defending clients in single-plaintiff discrimination litigation and employment-related class actions including wage and hour class actions (class opposition strategy, fact development and briefing); and advising clients on employment-related aspects of M&A transactions. Must also have significant experience independently handling motions and discovery, including experience taking depositions. Some trial experience is preferred. Admission to the Texas Bar is required; admission in other states, particularly California, is desirable.

The candidate should have excellent academic credentials. Must have exceptional writing skills, strong client communication skills and the demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis.
