A law firm is currently seeking an Associate Attorney for its Atlanta office, with a focus on the Health Care and Life Sciences (HCLS) industry. The ideal candidate should have a substantive background and significant experience in handling legal issues related to HCLS, including compliance and regulatory advice, fraud and abuse, transactional matters, reimbursement, clinical research, and/or internal investigations. Excellent academic credentials are a must. The firm is looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in health care and life sciences law. The Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and representation in a variety of legal issues within the Health Care and Life Sciences industry. The role involves handling compliance, regulatory matters, fraud and abuse cases, transactional work, reimbursement issues, clinical research, and internal investigations.



  • Provide legal counsel on issues related to the Health Care and Life Sciences (HCLS) industry.
  • Handle compliance and regulatory advice for clients in the HCLS sector.
  • Address legal matters related to fraud and abuse in healthcare.
  • Work on transactional matters within the HCLS industry.
  • Provide guidance on reimbursement issues in health care.
  • Assist with legal aspects of clinical research in the life sciences field.
  • Conduct internal investigations related to HCLS legal issues.



  • Juris Doctor degree from a reputable law school.
  • Active Bar membership in the state of Georgia.
  • 3+ years of experience in health care and life sciences law.
  • Substantive background and significant experience in HCLS legal issues.
  • Excellent academic credentials.



  • Strong understanding of legal issues in the Health Care and Life Sciences industry.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance.
  • Transactional experience within the HCLS sector.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle internal investigations effectively.
