Workers' Compensation Attorney

Tampa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks workers' compensation attorney with 2+ years of experience. The candidate will serve as Case Manager or Claims Adjuster to join the team. Will be responsible for managing a heavy case load, handling all aspects of the case from inception to preparing the file for demands. Opening new files and making the initial client contact, and continuing contact with clients on a regular basis. Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents. Enter pertinent information into the database. Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, and maintain contact with the insurance company. Manage clients medical care keeping in constant communication with clients and medical providers. Schedule and calendar medical appointments, and explain procedures and related documentation to clients. Continuously monitor case status, and review medical records. Organized and maintained case files, preparing files to be submitted to demand writers. Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus. Spanish speaking is a plus. Should have FL Bar Admission.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent. Should have a JD degree from an accredited university. Should have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Must have excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills. Should have attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors are essential. The capacity to work independently and in a team environment is needed. Should have the ability to maintain confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.
