The candidate will be performing a variety of tasks under the direct supervision of a partner or more senior associate; seeking to understand, and become engaged in, each project and its related elements as fully as possible. Will be communicating to supervisors fully, and in a timely manner, status of task completion and new developments that may impact the project or case. Applying the basic skills of legal research, writing and analysis with efficiency and high quality. Accepting responsibility for successful and timely completion of assigned tasks. Completing work accurately and professionally. Meeting expected levels of industry and commitment to firm. Participating fully in professional development programs hosted by the firm. Keeping current on legal developments through self-study and reading. Becoming proficient in the basic technology systems on which the associate will receive training.
