Associate Attorney needed for Richardson office

Richardson office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney or an attorney currently employed in a city or county government. The candidate will perform professional civil and municipal legal work involving a wide variety of legal issues, cases, and projects. Will work independently on legal matters and will work with more experienced attorneys on more complex legal matters. Expected to provide solid legal advice and assistance in the following areas of municipal law: Public Information Act, contracts, labor and employment, litigation, court prosecution, real estate, eminent domain, environmental, finance, constitutional law, statutory interpretation and compliance, and land use. Must have an interest in municipal law matters. Must have a current Bar Admission. Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus.

The candidate should be hard-working, team-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to work on issues with little guidance. Should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Superior written and oral communication skills are needed.
