Palo Alto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks patent prosecution organic chemistry associate attorney with 1 year of substantive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting IP due diligences, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences) and other IP matters related to small molecule pharmaceuticals. The candidate should ideally have an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in chemistry, with a strong emphasis in organic or medicinal chemistry, be registered to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and be admitted to a State Bar (California preferred).

The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior academic background and a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility and client interaction.
