Portland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks trademark, copyright and IP licensing/transactions associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate should have experience counseling clients in the selection, adoption, clearance, registration and enforcement of trademark and trade dress rights; representing clients in trademark opposition, cancellation and ex parte matters before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; counseling clients on copyright issues in a variety of fields, from artistic and musical works to apparel designs to computer software; advising clients on e-commerce issues, advertising campaigns, and contests and sweepstakes; and negotiating and drafting agreements affecting intellectual property rights, including patent, copyright, trademark, technology and software licensing, joint development agreements, technology transfer agreements, material transfer agreements, co-branding agreements, and IT, SAAS and cloud computing agreements. Admission or eligibility for reciprocity to the Oregon State Bar needed.

The candidate should have excellent academic credentials and professional references, as well as solid legal research, writing, and communication skills. Must have ownership of projects and willingness to work well in a team-oriented setting, but with significant independence. Should have strong client service ethic.
