Litigation Associate Attorney

Columbia office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a litigation associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience in foreclosure law and litigation. The candidate will draft and/or review legal documents and pleadings, argue motions, handle discovery, trial preparation and legal research. Management of file caseload. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys. Make Court Appearances. Willingness to travel statewide in South Carolina as needed. Must have experience and/or willingness to learn in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in South Carolina, with licensure in additional states preferred.

The candidate must be familiar with the rules of evidence and have experience in foreclosure law, bankruptcy, litigation, and a general understanding of all aspects of property law. Must be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision. Must have excellent communication and organization abilities.
