Venture Technology (Tech Transactions) Associate or Counsel

New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks venture technology (tech transactions) associate or counsel with 4-10 years of legal experience. The candidate will be drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial b2b and b2c agreements relating to software and other technology development, SAAS, outsourcing, and in-bound and out-bound licensing, manufacturing, reseller relationships, OEM and distributor relationships, as well as NDAs, and terms of use/terms of service. Will be advising clients regarding contractual matters, as well as internet, social media, marketing, advertising, open source, and e-commerce-related issues for a wide range of clients, including media and entertainment companies, technology platforms, retailers, social media companies, ad tech companies, mobile app providers, cloud storage providers, and telecommunication companies, financial services, software licensors, developers. Helping to build relationships with clients and the broader ecosystem. Should have experience in commercial, technology, and IP licensing. Experience with competitive firms in the tech sector is preferred, and familiarity with trademarks, licensing, and privacy tech transactions are important, as is experience in fin-tech, life sciences, medical devices, and/or equivalent sectors. Should be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing.

The candidate should have excellent academic credentials. Must be diligent and hard-working; ambitious, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Possesses strong analytical skills.
