Junior Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution and Counseling Agent

Washington, D.C. office of an AmLaw firm seeks junior intellectual property patent prosecution and counseling agent with ideally 2-5 years of experience (law firm and/or PTO) and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. The candidate should preferably have other specialties or an M.S. with appropriate experience. Must show competence in understanding chemical structures and properties. PTO Registration is preferred. Must be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant Bar. Industry experience is a plus.

The candidate must have excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills and analytical ability.
