Construction Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: Seeking a qualified Construction Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of construction law experience. The role involves providing legal representation in construction-related disputes, contract negotiations, and other litigation matters. Location:

Duties:

• Draft motions and legal documents related to construction litigation

• Manage discovery demands and respond to court appearances

• Provide legal advice and negotiate construction contracts and agreements

• Represent clients in trial-level litigation (Trial experience is a plus)

• Collaborate with legal teams and clients to develop case strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law

• Proven experience in drafting motions, discovery management, and court representation

• Experience in drafting and reviewing construction contracts

• Familiarity with NYC-based construction laws and regulations preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Effective communication and negotiation abilities

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
