Indianapolis office of an AmLaw firm seeks construction law/litigation associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility. Will collaborate across practice groups and across offices. Must have prior firm or other experience in litigation or construction law, including conducting effective legal research and drafting pleadings, contracts and/or other legal documents.

The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, a team-oriented mentality, and be a motivated self-starter with strong law school credentials and references. Must excel in a team environment. Demonstrate a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills both internally and externally. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. Must possess strong business acumen. Should be flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must have excellent written and oral communication.

This full-service firm is one of the largest law firms in Indianapolis with a nationally recognized reputation in many of its practice areas. With additional offices throughout the Midwest and the East Coast, the firm has over 200 lawyers ready to serve their clients. New associates are assigned to one of five sections: Bond/Municipal Finance, Business, Labor, Litigation, or Real Estate. New associates are encouraged to let the firm know what areas interest them, but all attorneys are expected to be willing to work in a wide variety of areas. New associates are also provided with early client contact. While some associates arent ecstatic with the firms bonus structure, this mid-tier firm does pay higher than many similar firms in the area.
