Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid to senior-level government contracts associate attorney with 5-10 years of law firm, in-house, or US government agency work history experience, and experience with bid protests, investigations, claims and disputes. The candidate will work closely with partners in providing advice to companies involving all aspects of government contracting, including bid protests, regulatory compliance counseling, small business issues, contract negotiations, investigations, claims, disputes and M&A due diligence. Will also work with less senior attorneys in a supervisory role, including training and managing work product. Should have an extensive background and experience with the regulatory aspects of US government contracting, including a detailed working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS. Experience with export control issues (ITAR/EAR) and State and Local government contracting matters are a plus.
The candidate must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials, as well as strong writing and analytical skills. Ability to develop and communicate, verbally and in writing, practical advice to clients is imperative.
