Senior Environment and Planning Associate Attorney

Melbourne office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior environment and planning associate attorney with 5+ years of pqe ideally gained within a reputable Environment and Planning practice with a strong focus on planning. The candidate will be engaged in a mix of litigation, advice and transaction work on Environment and Planning issues. Will serve in all aspects of Planning litigation in VCAT, Planning Panels Victoria and the Supreme Court, across all industry sectors and concerning projects. Experience and expertise with planning litigation, advice and project management essential. Must have Experience with land acquisition and compensation processes and disputed claims essential. Advocacy experience and expertise desirable. Strong time management and organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong drafting skills needed. Experience supervising and leading teams, and mentoring lawyers essential.
