Austin office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a transportation and infrastructure associate attorney with 1-5 years of experience representing governmental entities, drafting procurement and contract documents, working with the Texas Legislature, and handling Open Meetings Act/Public Information Act issues. The candidate will perform thorough legal research and analysis. Will draft legal documents with efficiency and clarity. Manage projects from commencement to closing. Competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys. Experience working with federal, state, and local governmental entities is required. Must have experience working with public and private entities on legal issues related to the planning, construction, financing, and operation of infrastructure projects. Should have experience working on Open Meetings/Public Information Act issues. Experience drafting and analyzing legislation and familiarity with the legislative process is needed. Must be admitted to the Bar in Texas or preparing to obtain such admission in 2023 through reciprocity with another State.
The candidate should have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. The ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines is required. Must have strong organization and matter management skills. The ability to work professionally and effectively with Clients, Partners, Associates and Team Members is needed. Must have clear and effective drafting skills. Should have exceptional project management skills. Juris Doctor is required. Excellent academic credentials are needed.
