Duties:

• Represent health care professionals and institutions in medical malpractice defense matters

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation from initial investigation through trial or settlement

• Conduct depositions, prepare legal pleadings, and draft discovery documents

• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as required

• Collaborate with medical experts and review detailed records to build case strategy

• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and co-counsel

• Participate in firm mentoring and training programs to further develop litigation skills

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation

• Proven ability to manage complex case files independently

• Interest in catastrophic injury cases and high-stakes medical defense

• Commitment to professional development and mentorship within the firm

• Stable and consistent work history preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York (required)
