Immigration Associate Attorney

San Francisco office of our client seeks an immigration associate attorney with some experience. The candidate will make appearances before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Do the authoring and filing of briefs and motions with the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Make a preparation of family-based petitions, asylum applications, naturalization applications, and other immigration petitions and applications that involve the creation of immigration forms, such as Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization). Preparation of evidentiary submissions during deportation (removal) cases, such as exhibit lists. Preparation of client declarations. Assist a Partner with the aforementioned litigation. Must be a member of a State Bar in good standing (bar applicants, who await results, will be considered). Must possess professional fluency in English and Spanish (additional fluency in Portuguese is preferable).

The candidate must possess a JD degree. Must have a commitment to serving the immigrant community. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
