Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment law and business litigation matters.
  • Investigate and respond to charges of discrimination filed with governmental agencies.
  • Draft position statements, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents.
  • Provide general employment law advice and counsel to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and argue motions, and handle discovery and depositions.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; act as a primary contact for clients and potential clients.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in employment law and business litigation.
  • Proven experience with investigating discrimination charges and drafting legal documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide sound employment law advice and counsel.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in federal and state courts.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and business litigation.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
