Elder Law and Medicaid Attorney

Conway office of our client seeks an elder law and Medicaid attorney with 5+ years of experience practicing in elder law. The candidate will have supervision of paralegals and other staff related to their own case list. Will be representing own clients with Medicaid planning and applications. Communication with clients regarding case updates and application processes. Manage the calendar of deadlines and ensure all responses are completed prior to deadlines with the State as needed. Drafting and revising legal documents pertaining to own client's matters. Advise clients on legal matters. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Experience in Medicaid crisis planning is a must. Filing or assisting in filing 25 or more Medicaid Applications is preferred. Probate, guardianship, and estate planning experience are a plus. Familiarity/membership with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Elder Law Foundation is a plus. Familiarity with various legal documents such as Powers of Attorney, Revocable Trusts, and Irrevocable Trusts is essential. CELA designation is a plus. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
