This white-shoe New York firm is undergoing some changes--which we believe will definitely be for the better in terms of associate life. Although this transition concerns the old-school fans of this firm, associates confirm the effect has been better and more interesting work in an environment with renewed vigor. Although their litigation section has been somewhat diluted of late, their deal work is booming, even through the economy slowdown.
