Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Litigation Attorney to join its general litigation practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts, as well as arbitral forums. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience managing all phases of litigation and a strong commitment to high-quality legal service and team collaboration. Location:

  • Seattle, WA (Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Seattle area)

Duties:

  • Handle a broad spectrum of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and regulatory issues

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

  • Draft litigation documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests/responses

  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies

  • Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to develop case approaches and deliver high-quality client service

  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and legal strategies

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years of litigation experience

  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association or ability to obtain membership within a reasonable timeframe

  • Current Washington resident or willingness to relocate to the Seattle area

  • Strong desire to grow within a collaborative, all-member firm structure

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Demonstrated academic excellence

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Washington State Bar (required or must be obtained)

Skills:

  • Superior legal research, analytical, and writing skills

  • Strong drafting ability, particularly in litigation pleadings, discovery, and motions

  • Excellent communication and client service skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in leadership and firm membership opportunities

  • Preferred but not required:

    • Judicial clerkship experience

    • Experience with depositions, oral arguments, and court appearances
