Title IX Associate Attorney

Carlsbad office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks title ix associate attorney with experience. The candidate will be providing advice and counsel to clients on Title IX matters from the initial report of conduct to written determination and appeal. Will be drafting and reviewing documents throughout the Title IX Process. Assisting with communicating with the parties and their advisors while protecting the neutrality, integrity, and privacy of the process. Conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct, specifically sexual misconduct, gender-based discrimination, harassment, intimate violence, and stalking brought by students and employees. This includes developing an investigative plan, conducting witness interviews, collecting evidence, and drafting investigative reports in a neutral manner that maintains the integrity and privacy of the investigation. Knowledge of legal gender equity concepts is required (e.g., Title VII sexual harassment and discrimination). Must be a member of the State Bar of California.
