Job Overview

A dynamic business law firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Business Litigation & Transactional Attorney to support its small business client base. This role offers a balanced workload of transactional work, pre-litigation disputes, and active litigation, with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships and acting as outside general counsel. Location

Duties

  • Draft and review LLC operating agreements, business formation documents, employment and customer contracts, and vendor agreements

  • Counsel clients in conflict-prone matters including business divorces, breach of contract disputes, and commercial collections

  • Manage active litigation including pleadings, motions, discovery, and court appearances

  • Serve as outside general counsel to small business clients across various industries

  • Engage in proactive client communication and problem-solving

  • Collaborate with attorney teams and support staff in a non-hierarchical, team-oriented environment

Requirements

  • Experience in business law, commercial litigation, or contract drafting

  • Ability to manage litigation and transactional matters independently

  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent legal judgment and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma

  • Good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association
