Criminal Defense Attorney

Houston office of our client seeks a criminal defense attorney with 5-10 years of trial experience. Must have relevant experience practicing criminal law. The candidate will be arguing motions, trials, client meetings, and the independent investigation of criminal cases. Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

The candidate must have a proven track record for excellent client service and success at trial. Must be able and willing to manage cases, from discovery through trial. Must have a clearly demonstrated commitment to excellence, personal and professional integrity, and a serious interest in helping others. Must be able to work independently while handling multiple files. Must also have a demonstrated strong work ethic. Intelligence and a probing mind, strong analytical skills, learn quickly are required. Must also possess the knowledge and experience needed to work independently and the character necessary to fluidly work with others. Excellent writing, research, and communication skills are essential. Must possess detail attentiveness and big picture awareness and follow through on commitments. Must possess a 'Team Player' attitude and be open-minded to learning and expanding, self-aware.
