Commercial Real Estate And Lending Attorney

Chattanooga office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a commercial real estate and lending attorney with 5+ years of job experience with significant commercial real estate and lending experience. The candidate will draft and negotiate leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, easements, CC&Rs, and other related agreements for commercial real estate transactions. Will engage in due diligence related to real estate transactions and otherwise shepherd a deal from agreement to closing, including tracking critical dates, reviewing title and survey, and preparing and negotiating closing documents. Work with title companies and/or title attorneys to facilitate closings and complete post-closing documentation. Assist with drafting and reviewing complex operating agreements, bylaws, shareholders contribution agreements, and other related corporate documents. Draft and negotiate property management agreements, asset management agreements, indemnity agreements, and other similar contracts. Complete all stages of the lending cycle, from structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing all loan documents. Provide legal assistance for commercial lending from due diligence and loan documentation, including preparation of security instruments and guarantee agreements. Coordinate with other team members, including attorneys, paralegals, and staff members, on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and loans. Effectively organize and monitor client files.

The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively advocate for and work with various types of clients are vital. Must be willing to pitch in, collaborate, and support expanding legal departments in a fast-paced, growing environment. Must be skilled at meeting strict deadlines under significant time pressure. The ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently and balance conflicting priorities is required.
