Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an energy attorney with 2-4 years of experience in energy law, public utility commissions and/or FERC proceedings, and energy project development transactions. The candidate will manage regulatory proceedings under the supervision of partners. Conduct in-depth legal research and rigorous legal analysis. Draft a variety of simple and complex regulatory filings. Conduct due diligence and provide counsel on energy-related transactions. Interact regularly with sophisticated clients. Track legislation and rulemakings, analyze impacts and draft responsive advocacy materials. Participate as a stakeholder in resource planning meetings. Track energy market trends in New England. Massachusetts or Maine bar admission is required.

The candidate must have top academic credentials. Familiarity with proceedings and practice before state or federal public utility regulatory agencies is a plus. Must have comfort with solving complex analytical problems with legal implications, strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial mentality, and the ability to work efficiently on a variety of complex projects.
