International Capital Markets Associate Attorney

Washington D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an international capital markets associate attorney preferably with 4-8 years of experience practicing US securities law. The candidate will draft, review, and amend documentation. Will strategically advise clients in meetings, on the phone, and in writing. Manage client expectations and project delivery appropriately. Develop a personal plan, assist with, and implement a business development campaign. Must have sophisticated experience in representing issuers and underwriters in a wide range of debt and equity securities offerings (including IPOs, SEC-registered, and Rule 144A offerings), public company reporting, and corporate governance. Sound experience of operating at the associate level within a complex international organization is required. Prior experience and knowledge of the 1933 Act and the 1934 Act is essential. Experience involving high yield debt transactions is a plus. Admission to the NY or DC Bar is required.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials. Strong technical knowledge of the legal framework surrounding securities offerings and public company reporting in the US is required. Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice is essential. Must have excellent drafting and analytical skills, accurate and strong attention to detail, a high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and people.
