A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced and compassionate 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing property damage claims, demonstrating strong negotiation skills, and providing empathetic client service. The role involves handling complex cases, communicating effectively with insurance companies, and attending various legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their property damage cases, showing compassion and empathy while earning their trust and respect.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their cases.
• Communicate with insurance companies about claims, demands, and offers to ensure smooth case progression.
• Attend and represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Evaluate property damage claims to assess their validity and potential for successful resolution.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address any case-related issues and advance client interests.
• Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in 1st Party Property Damage cases.
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong understanding of property damage claims and litigation processes.
• Superb negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving successful settlements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and effective case management.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Florida Bar Association.
