Duties:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their property damage cases, showing compassion and empathy while earning their trust and respect.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their cases.
  • Communicate with insurance companies about claims, demands, and offers to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Attend and represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Evaluate property damage claims to assess their validity and potential for successful resolution.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to address any case-related issues and advance client interests.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in 1st Party Property Damage cases.
  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of property damage claims and litigation processes.
  • Superb negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving successful settlements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and effective case management.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the Florida Bar Association.
