Corporate/Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm located in New York City, NY, is seeking a highly qualified Corporate/Employment Associate Attorney with a focus on employment and labor matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex employment law issues and will possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Duties:

• Advise clients on a range of employment-related compliance issues, including worker classification, wage and hour regulations, immigration, union matters, collective bargaining, and equal opportunity laws.
• Draft and review employment agreements, and separation agreements, and advise on reductions-in-force and WARN Act compliance.
• Draft and advise on restrictive covenants and conduct employment-related diligence in transaction documents.
• Handle employment-related representations and covenants in transaction documents.
• Guide employment policies, handbooks, and practices.
• Assist in preparing and responding to employment-related litigation and disputes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of employment law experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
• Proven experience in advising on compliance, drafting agreements, and handling employment-related issues.
• Members in good standing of the NY Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar Association.
