Wheeling office of an AmLaw firm seeks employment law career associate attorney with 3-10 years of legal experience. The candidate provides litigation and business development support to attorneys in the Employment Law Practice Group. Works to support the needs of the Employment Law Practice on the full range of employment litigation including multi-plaintiff, individual, and class action discrimination and wage and hour suits, government enforcement actions, internal investigations, client counseling, as well as business development activities. Must have experience in some or all of the following areas of litigation: employment discrimination, whistleblowing, post-employment restrictions, wage and hour. Should have experience including: researching a range of employment issues, drafting position statements, briefs, motions, and discovery documents, handling discovery tasks, including e-discovery, assisting with preparation of witnesses for depositions, assisting with preparation for arbitrations and trials. Must have licensure from 1 jurisdiction. Must be admitted to the West Virginia State Bar.

The candidate should have a JD degree from accredited law school. Excellent academic credentials required. Requires excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
