Sewickley office of our client seeks litigation associate attorney with 5+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for performing functions as assigned by the partners and senior attorneys of the Firm that are billable in nature. Will be researching, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, attendance at depositions and hearings within local magistrate, state, and federal courts. The primary areas of law involved are minority shareholder disputes, labor and employment, construction and real estate litigation. Serving in the assignments as directed by attorneys within the Firm involving legal research, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, attendance at depositions and hearings within local magistrate, state and federal courts, and the filing of documents with Court within both the State and Federal (PACER) systems. Managing multiple assignments and deadlines on a daily/weekly/long-term basis. Appropriately recording time for billable activities to be included on invoices to clients of the Firm. Taking messages for attorneys or staff as appropriate. Interacting with clients of the Firm. Adhere to and promote positive interactions with Firm attorneys, staff co-workers, clients and Firm vendors. Limited travel may be necessary for filing in state courts or retrieving documents; and Perform other related duties as assigned or required. Must be admitted to practice law within the Commonwealth of PA (in good standing).

The candidate will proficiently use computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, for correspondence, research, reports, and email communication. Law degree and experience within a law firm setting are required.
