Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks junior- to mid-level international trade associate attorney with 1-4 years of experience in export controls and economic sanctions, specifically, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. anti-boycott laws and regulations, and the various sanctions regimes administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as well as some experience with rules and regulations governing imports. The candidate should preferably have experience with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Should preferably have experience conducting export classifications, preparing license applications, conducting internal reviews, preparing voluntary disclosures, and crafting compliance programs.
