Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level intellectual property transactions associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house. The candidate will represent clients in all IP aspects of corporate transactions, including drafting and negotiating complex international agreements involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights, including licensing, service, and purchase agreements, assignments, security and release agreements, and other transaction documents. Will conduct IP due diligence for M&A transactions, and manage client communications, manage building comprehensive IP strategy for clients across a multitude of technologies and industries. Undergrad or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred. Must be admitted to the DC Bar. Experience with open source software licensing, software escrow, privacy, data-security, patent pools, venture capital, and finance is a plus.

The candidate should be graduated with a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school. Must possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, as this position requires immediate partner and client contact. Should possess a high level of professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients. Must be able to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, be highly organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.
