Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Provide timely and accurate work products while meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Foster positive work relationships and comply with all firm policies.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities such as working at a computer, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Illinois.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and carry vehicles preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.

Education and Certifications:
