Westlake Village office of our client seeks transactional attorney with 3+ years of experience in municipal law. The candidate will draft and review resolutions, ordinances, contracts and other transactional documents, perform legal research on a range of public law topics, and prepare legal memoranda advising clients. Should have legal experience in the areas of land use and zoning, including the California Environmental Quality Act, municipal code compliance and enforcement, conflict of interest and ethics, public bidding, the Brown Act and Public Records Act, and Proposition 218.
The candidate must possess excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills. should demonstrate the ability to work both cooperatively with others and independently, as circumstances demand, and must show a strong ability to take initiative and problem solve.
