The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the real estate practice, handling the drafting, review, and negotiation of various real estate contracts. Additionally, they will be responsible for forming business organizations and drafting operational and transactional business documents.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts, including leases, purchase agreements, and loan documents.
  • Form business organizations and draft operational and transactional business documents, such as organizational filings, bylaws, certificates, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, management contracts, asset and stock purchase agreements, and more.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on real estate and business matters.
  • Conduct legal research to support clients and case strategies.
  • Attend meetings with clients to discuss legal matters and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Handle real estate closings and related legal processes.

Requirements:

  • Current member of the State Bar in good standing.
  • 2 years of valuable experience in real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate contracts and business law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
