San Francisco office of our client seeks senior land use attorney with 7+ years of experience. The candidate should have familiarity with the land use/zoning process in various jurisdictions. Must have substantial experience representing property owners/developers to conduct due diligence, obtain project entitlements, including general plan amendments, specific plans, subdivision map approvals, zoning amendments, development agreements, use permits. Should also be familiar with federal and state law relating to endangered species, water, wetlands, coastal resources, historic preservation, and affordable housing. An excellent working knowledge of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is important, including the ability to supervise the preparation of CEQA documents. Also have extensive experience speaking at public hearings and knowledge of municipal law generally. California Bar admission is required.

The candidate should have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and speaking skills.
