Rochester office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a Medicaid, elder law, and trust & estates attorney with 1-year of experience. The candidate works closely with clients to manage a case from beginning to end. Handles estate planning and/or estate administration, public benefits applications, elder law, and asset protection plans. Counsels clients regarding owned financial products and understands income and estate tax. Conducts research, develops asset-protection strategies, prepares legal documents, presents options to clients and attends court appearances in all facets. Regularly consults with supervising attorneys and provides the status of cases.
The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, facility with numbers, excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines and a commitment to client service.
