Job Overview:
A law firm based in Bellevue, WA, is actively seeking a motivated and client-focused Family Law Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team. Duties:

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, custody, and support matters

• Prepare and draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Conduct client consultations, depositions, and settlement negotiations

• Make court appearances and attend mediation sessions

• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of case activities

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to family law

• Willingness to transition into family law from general litigation is acceptable

• Active license in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet time-sensitive deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Washington State Bar admission required

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting ability
