Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks creditor's rights litigation attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate should preferably have experience in defending consumer and commercial actions alleging wrongful foreclosure (judicial, non-judicial and home equity), wrongful repossession of personal property, credit reporting, loan origination and servicing issues. Experience preparing answers, motions, discovery, defense of discovery, judicial foreclosures and other routine filings and attending mediation is essential. First or second chair trial experience a plus. Strong knowledge of federal and state court practices and rules of civil procedure and evidence is needed. Strong knowledge of the Texas Property Code, the Texas foreclosure processes, FDCPA, FCRA, CFBP and other consumer protection statutes is essential. Case management experience (handled case from inception to resolution) is needed. Should have loss mitigation knowledge. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas.

The candidate will handle high volume and be highly responsive to client needs. Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team is essential. Should have Juris Doctor degree.
